Small Town Magic
I live in an area filled with small towns hidden among the trees. Even the biggest towns here are relatively small by most people's standards.
But there is a charm and a magic in these places. Sure, they change and evolve like anyplace else. But they seem to hold on to the more unique aspects of humanity.
Where bigger cities continue to be overrun with commercial properties, McDonald's and Walmart's and Walgreens instead of the Mom and Pop diners, grocery stores, and pharmacies, these small towns are a haven for the small, family owned business.
There's a little bit of magic in that, and I'm grateful these places still exist.
